Richard Gear: I thank the Egyptians for the warmth of their feelings and I promise to come back again
The American star Richard Gear expressed his happiness visiting Egypt and being honored in Cairo International Film Festival also the hospitality he received by the Egyptians and the warmth of their feelings specially that he came to Egypt with his wife and his son who is 10 years old to enjoy its wonderful residence and to watch its immortal monuments pointing that Cairo Festival is so remarkable and contains a lot of different cultures.
  
Gear expressed in the press conference that took place on the
 context of Cairo international Film Festival and was attended by the festival president Mr Ezat Abou Ouff and managed by the beautiful artist Dalia Elbehairy that he is so thankful to the Egyptians and the audience of the opening ceremony for their warm welcome for him and he added joking: “my son told me when I came back from the ceremony that my pockets were torn”
The American star made a violent attack against previous American president George Bush junior and he described him that he has a weak personality as he involved the United States in invading Iraq for some flimsy reasons expressing his sorrow for the ruination that took place in Iraq wishing that Iraqis can rebuild their country one more time.
And regarding his visit to the Palestinian city (Ram Allah) he said: “it was a very remarkable visit specially that it took place when the city was supposed to be having a curfew and I was advised by my friends not to go there for their fear for my life but I decided that I will go and complete my journey to discover that Palestinians are wonderful and good people.”
Richard Gear pointed that he doesn’t prefer working in theatres as it derives him from staying with his son and sharing him beautiful moments explaining that the feeling of fatherhood added a lot to his life.
The handsome star revealed that he began his career path as a dancer and musician and thathe was supposed to complete as a musician before taking acting as a profession but the moment of transfer was when he was 19 years old during his study in the university when he received a call informing him that he succeeded in the acting test he made, but he assured that he didn’t get separated from music at all despite of his being busy with acting and that all of that get in favor to his mother who supported him to learn music and that he presented because of her a number of music work but he said that his happiness is still bigger when he plays at home.

Gear pointed that he is happy with his experience in (Chicago) film
 specially that he began his career as a dancer and he presented a lot of dancing artwork and that he adores music, he directly agreed on the spot once he was showed the scenario of the film explaining that the film was shooted in 4 days only and all the dancing scenes were shooted in only half a day and he was trained on the dances in about 2 months but when he visited Chicago city he didn’t like it.
Richard Gear explained that he just finished 2 months ago a new film under the name of (Double) the incidents were taking place during the last 20 years and he is presenting in the film a role of a spy as the film goes deep inside the world of spies and investigations and it is expected to be shown in the few coming months.
The American star welcomed working in an Egyptian film if there is a good story, a good director versed from his tools and a strong production that can provide all what the film needs pointing to that presenting serious artwork is so difficult specially as the budget of any normal film in Hollywood is more than 100 million dollars and that the income doesn’t cover these numbers.
And about his faith with the idea of cloning soles after his conversion to Buddhism he assured that it is a weird idea but there will always be cloning of the life between a moment and the other and that life is unstable even if some people thought different than
