Misr Company for Sound, Light and Cinema celebrated its
completion of the first level of lighting at the Botanical Garden Island
in Aswan.
The
size of the island is 17 acres, and the most modern technology in
lighting was installed, with an electricity system saving 80% of current
energy usage. The lighting system is meant to highlight the beauty of
the Botanical Garden Island, a very popular touristic monument in Aswan,
located in the heart of the Nile.
This project is part of a larger group of projects undertaken by Misr Company for Sound & Light and Cinema in Aswan.
Other
projects include the East and West Banks, the Tombs of the Nobles, and
Tomb of Aghakhan, as well as the Botanical Garden and some of the large
rock structures in the Nile intended show how beautiful Aswan is.
